Doveridge Vineyard Wedding | Megan & Jon

Megan and Jon’s Doveridge Vineyard was huge family celebration. It was so fun to get to watch generations of their families come together to celebrate the start of their marriage.

I didn’t meet Megan or Jon until their wedding day because I filled in for their initial photographer, who was a friend of mine. She found out she had a work trip that she could not miss and so I offered to step in and capture their day.

And I’m so glad I did! The second I got to the venue I was welcomed in like I was family. Both of Megan and Jon’s families were incredibly kind and giddy with excitement for the big day. Even their dog welcomed me with cuddles, which was the cutest flower dog ever! Megan’s family breeds golden doodles and boy are they adorable. Sorry sidetracked by dogs.

Megan’s dad officiated the ceremony with the help of her brother, as her dad walked her down the aisle. Their entire families surrounded them in prayer during the ceremony; it was beautiful to witness and hear the love they have for Megan and Jon.

The night continued with some impressive dance skills. Both families have a level of talent that I could never reach. And Megan’s allure bridal gown twirled perfectly with all of the spins and dips.

It was exceptionally beautiful outside by the giant marque lights that Megan’s dad built for them!

I can say everyone had a blast watching their families dance the night away! I sure did!

I loved getting to witness the two families truly come together as one. Even on a wedding day, you don’t always get to see that happen. You could clearly see the love that not only Megan and Jon had for each other but all those around them helping celebrate!
